TASTA Vibratory Finishing system incorporate a rubber lined metallic bowl of 'U' cross-section mounted on precisely calculated springs. The machines is driven by a highly efficient vibratory motor.

The open top of the bowl is to be loaded with suitable ceramic / plastic or steel media and components to be processed. Spiral vibratory motion is created when the motor rotates. Rubbing action of media against components takes place throughout the total mass instead of just the top surface, so that process cycle are substantially shorter than any other conventional method. Also they have the capability of getting more action in the recesses of components. The other advantage of the machine is that the components can be inspected and checked during the process cycle without the need to stop the machine.

Deburring / Finishing Media:
The choice of the consumable used in mass finishing process is critical for achieving optimum deburring & finishing results. It is the ability to select media of right shape, size and grade (High abrasive, Low abrasive & fine finishing), that has done most to allow mass finishing processes to become precision tools for metal removal. These media are a mixture of abrasive grains bonded into either ceramic or plastic.
Ceramic Media
are harder and also more abrasive. For a given amount of metal removal they are generally more economical. It can be offered in a multiplicity of shapes. Special sizes & shapes can also be offered on request.
Plastic Media are softer, and it is possible to surface finish many components with greater uniformity, that is with less edge and corner radiusing. Smooth, although generally not luster surface finish can be achieved. This has lower density than ceramic types & limited shapes / sizes.
Steel Media are H.C.H.C. or S.S. balls and shapes. They are widely used for burnishing operations, helping to achieve maximum luster for decorative finishing purpose. Steel media can be of considerable value. Tacks and nails have a unique ability to pick out burrs from very small holes and recesses when used as media with loose abrasive powder.

Chemicals / Compounds:
For mass finishing operations where parts are being deburred and finished with abrasive media and water, the addition of a suitable compound allows better control of the process and can enhance the cutting action, or by assisting in developing colour and luster on components. The other reason for using compounds are to reduce any form of corrosion during processing. Wide range of compounds can be offered for different metals & applications, (Heavy Metal cutting, Deburring, Derusting, Polishing and Mirror Finishing).
